Financial education and savings program
Saver Plus is a financial education and matched savings program that assists people to build savings for their own or their children’s education.
- $1 in matched savings for every $1 they save, up to $500
- MoneyMinded financial training, and
- Personal support and guidance from a trusted community organisation. At the end of the program, participants use their matched savings to pay for education-related expenses such as books, uniforms, laptops, excursions and sports fees.
Saver Plus is offered by a range of community agencies across Australia and since 2003, over 10,000 individuals and families have completed the program. Haven joined the program in 2006 and now delivers Saver Plus in Mildura, Bendigo, Maryborough, Castlemaine, Daylesford and surrounding areas. By June 2011, we had assisted over 450 individuals and parents to save for a better future.
