We strive to embody the values of dignity and respect and we work in concerted and practical way to make a difference to the lives of people experiencing homelessness or who are in housing crisis.

Background

Loddon Mallee Housing Services has been providing services to homeless and disadvantaged people under different nomenclatures since 1978. It is a not for profit company, limited by guarantee, and holds public benevolent institution status. It has been operating for over 14 years in its current guise.

Loddon Mallee Housing Services is acknowledged as the leading provider of a broad range of Housing and Homelessness services in rural and regional Victoria. The established catchment for operations has been the Loddon Mallee Region which encompasses the north west corner of Victoria and along the Murray River border with New South Wales. The Loddon Mallee Region comprises 26% of the State of Victoria with a population base of 283,000 and growing rapidly. The services that the Agency currently delivers are contracted predominantly by the Victorian Department of Human Services.
